Meet Nancy
Nancy Ness is the Director of the Owatonna Makerspace. Think of Owatonna Makerspace as a community workshop where artists, crafters, and tradespeople (like carpenters and metalworkers) can come together to create, collaborate, and teach. The Makerspace supplies the heavy-duty tools, the specialized equipment, and the know-how through teachers and workshops, all accessible through membership. Basically, if you can dream it, Nancy can probably find you the tool to build it.
Meet Emily
Emily Pearson manages The Craft Apothecary, our innovative, creative reuse space. She's building a hub that makes art more accessible, affordable, and sustainable by diverting materials from landfills and putting them into the hands of creators. Emily is passionate about bringing people together to create, learn, and connect through the power of making—because one person’s trash is literally Emily’s next masterpiece.
