About the event
Since we've sold out our first session of Intro to Tunisian Crochet, we've added a late afternoon session! 4–6 PM on Friday the 24th. Curious about Tunisian crochet? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect introduction, and no traditional crochet experience is required! You'll learn how to choose the right hooks and yarn, create a foundation, master the forward and return pass, and explore a variety of textured stitches. Then we'll dive into textured stitches—and keep exploring new ones until the group decides they've had enough!
Materials: All materials are included in the class fee.
Recommended Age: Best suited for ages 16 and up.
About The Teacher
Hi! I'm Tracy of Stitch Loudly. I've lived in Minnesota for just over a year, building my dream home with my husband on 5 acres of land with the help of several cats. I design crochet patterns for both tunisian crochet and traditional crochet (available on Ravelry and Etsy) and love introducing new yarn friends to these beautiful art forms. In addition to crochet, I sew all my clothes, lead fitting and sewing workshops, make custom purses, and longarm quilt. If I'm not in the fiber studio you can find me wandering a thrift shop somewhere or enjoying a platter of enchiladas. I love creating things with my hands that bring a little more color and joy into the world, and I can't wait to join you on your own creative journey!
