That's right—a blog, not a vlog—but a good ole fashioned blog. I realized that instead of posting long Facebook posts, a blog might be the best way to keep everyone in the loop as The Craft Apothecary slowly comes to life!
Update 1: We Are Doing This Co-Op Style!
This will be a creative co-op, which means this won’t just be my store—it will be our community venture. My dream is to build a space where we all get to have a say in what happens, share in the successes, and shape something meaningful together.
More info is coming soon about what becoming a patron or owner member might look like, and how you can be involved in co-creating this space.
Update 2: I Started Small Business Academy!
Timing is everything—and the Owatonna Area Business Development Center kicked off their Small Business Academy just as I was getting serious about this idea. I'm now part of their new session and already learning so much about how to break this idea down into practical, real-world steps.
Update 3: Informational & Planning Meeting

📍 Mineral Springs Brewery
This gathering is for anyone who’s curious about the project, wants to get involved, or just wants to learn more. We’ll share the vision, answer questions, and start forming a planning committee to help move things forward.
Grab a beer (or slushy!) and come chat. It’ll be casual and creative—just the way I like it.
