As we head into February, we’re grateful for this creative community. Here is a look at what is coming for us in the next few months!
Target Circle™ Community Giving Program: Vote for us
The Craft Apothecary wouldn't be here without the Owatonna Area Business Development Center. The OABDC is honored to be one of four area nonprofits featured this quarter for Target Circles Community Giving Program! Target Circle users collect points when they shop at Target and they can then use the points to vote on featured nonprofits each quarter.
Now through March 30, vote for the Owatonna Area Business Development Center through the Target Circle program to help determine how Target’s donation will be divvied up. Find out more about Target Circle here: https://www.target.com/circle/community-voting
You can vote right now! If you have the Target Circle app:
1. Open up your Target app
2. Click My Target at the bottom
3. Find Target Circle Benefits > Click Explore
4. Click Vote for non-profits
5. Cast your votes for the Owatonna Area Business Development Center
You can also vote online by logging into your Target Circle account, clicking Target Circle at the top of the page, and clicking on "vote for non-profits."

Sunday CrafterNoons at Rose Street

We are continuing community craft time in 2026! Every Sunday 11am–4pm come to the Rose Street Center (home of The Craft Apothecary) and spend some time with community and creativity. Bring your own project, bring a snack, we have tables and comfy chairs. The Apothecary isn't open yet so we don't have our full offering of supplies and tools to start out with but we wanted to start coming together and creating! Register at the links below to reserve your spot, pay in person ($5 fee).
Steele County Fix-It-Clinic

The Craft Apothecary is partnering with Owatonna Makerspace, Steele County, and Owatonna Community Education to host a Fix-It-Clinic at Rose Street Center on March 21st. We could use volunteer fixers who have experience in fixing small household appliances/electronics, sewing/mending, etc. Visit our website for more information and links to register as a fixer or as an attendee: https://www.rosestreetcenter.com/fixitclinic
Follow along on our Facebook Page for updates.
The Craft Apothecary and Owatonna Makerspace Progress

We've been busy painting where we can! In the coming weeks we'll keep plugging away—setting up equipment, and getting spaces organized. Donations are still on pause for now, but keep going through your supplies, we are getting closer to being able to take donations again!
New Year, New Website

thecraftapothecary.org got a bit of a facelift! The main landing page now features both Owatonna Makerspace and The Craft Apothecary. Explore each page to see what we have to offer, and scroll to the end to register for one of our Sunday CrafterNoon dates.
As we move through a heavy moment here in Minnesota, we’re holding space for care, creativity, and community. In times like these, they matter more than ever—thank you for being part of ours.
